Q-Wallet expansion into Vietnam, Philippines and the exponential growth of our community

  1. Q-Wallet user acquisition boost

With the total number of Q-Wallet users currently amounting to 60,000, the past half month has seen a significant spike in first timers and first openers. During the past two weeks there have been over 5,000 registrations, of which the majority are from Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines.

Since the launch of the community poll on QGas buyback and burn program, Q-Wallet received large amounts of feedback on using experience, transaction operation, etc. Q-Wallet is now being updated once a week to respond to the feedback and comments from the users.

For Android users, a faster method to access the latest Q-Wallet versions is to download the apk directly from the official website

2. QGas buyback and burn launched with a total of 200K QLC purchase by the team

QGas buyback and burn was launched on March 13th, the 10-day program has bought back a total 200K QGas for burning afterwards. The QLC Chain team is soon to publish the address for burning for public supervision, following which the team will also burn an equivalent amount of QLC from the QLC foundation allocation to that released to the community through the buyback and burn program.

3. QLC Chain Chief Architect Allen Li AMA with @NanoNewsID on March 20th!

QLC Chain co-hosted an AMA with the active Indonesian community @NanoNewsID, featuring QLC Chain Chief Architect Allen Li, the AMA addressed 10 questions from the community covering QLC Chain’s positioning in the era of 5G, technical suitability for the future telecom industry as the infrastructure level public chain, challenges and future plans.

4. Total staked QLC surpasses 80 million on March 9th!

5. Initiating the 4th round of shortlisting QLC Chain node runners

The 4th round of QLC Chain node runners is open for applications now. QLC Chain team will delegate 10 Million equivalent voting power to the voting node shortlisted applicants.

  • Join the blockchain transaction anti-fraud monitoring project which is sponsored by the Technology Department of Guangdong Province

  • Implement privacy of transaction
  • Prepare for the second phase of (P2P/Consensus) optimization
  • Refactor VM
  • Work with an operator on the QLC Chain-based solution to securing the SMS service
  • Billing system for SD-WAN of enterprise communication

Confidant Development

  • Completed the coding of on-chain registration and verification of the data of the encryption-decryption tool

Ongoing (Feb 24 — Mar 6)

  • Program the verification code part of the node authentication of QID node
